2004 in Review

Like any year, there are busy times and there are slow times. The year 2004 proved to be another good year for Harlow Marine. Overall, among the sales we sold 12 tugs, 8 barges and 4 winders.

Some notable sales of the year include:

    The Gowlland Warrior sold in late January by Gowlland Towing. The purchaser was Harbour Tugs.

 

 

 February brought the sales of the barge SN4 and the boom boat Hiada Doe by Summer Holdings. Harken Towing purchased the SN4 and the Hiada Doe.
   Sadifer Lake Contracting sold the super winder Kiboco II. to Benwest Logging in March.
   April saw Teal Cedar Products selling their crew boat the Phantom Hawk IV.
   May saw Mercury Launch & Tug sell the tug Augusta Long to Totem Transport.
   The landing craft the Big Mother was sold inJune to Mountain Marine.
   July being a busy month saw many sales. Among the July sales Rapid Towing purchased the tug Kamel, owned by Gowlland Towing.
   
   Reedel Falling sold the Kathy L to Spriit Lake Timber of Campbell River.
   Stave Lake Transportation also sold their tug the Delta Eagle to a new company operating in the Arctic
   S&M Fishing Enterprises purchased the fishing vessel the CR Lady from RMAC Fishing Ltd.
   Saltair Marine sold the tug Buffalo II to Amix Sales & Salvage in October.
   November saw the sale of the Bert Long to Totem Transport.
   Reedel Falling sold a 24’ crew boat in November to S&P Marine.

 

 Gravity Towing also sold winders this past year. One winder was sold to Dragon Bay,and the second being sold to Quality Towing.
 

 Timber Mac Contracting found a new home for the tug Timber Mac with Ashlaur Trading Ltd.
